Compiz Fusion Screensavers!!

Just saw this vid...

I am using Compiz Fusion on my arch system right now. I used the instructions in the wiki to set it up but I am not seeing the screensavers plugin. Can anyone help me? I'd love these screensavers!

what repo are you using for compiz-fusion ? I'm using this.
[compiz-fusion]
Server = http://arch.nesl247.org/compiz-fusion/i686

add that to your "/etc/pacman.conf" It is updated almost daily.
here is what i get from this command "pacman -Q | grep compiz"

compiz-bcop-git 20071007-1
compiz-fusion-plugins-extra-git 20071007-1
compiz-fusion-plugins-main-git 20071007-1
compiz-fusion-plugins-screensaver-git 20070830-1
compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported-git 20071007-1
compiz-git 20071007-1
compizconfig-python-git 20071007-1
libcompizconfig-git 20071007-1

install the "compiz-fusion-plugins-screensaver-git" plugin and other plugins that you need.

I tried the Screen saver plugin after i saw this post but it didn't work for me i set it to activate in 1 minute but it doesn't do anything. I only tried it like 5-10 minutes just to test it. I don't really need it compiz-fusion is kind of slow on my computer
Here is my spec
Dell Optiplex GX620
Pentium D 2,8Ghz
Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) 945G (intel driver from testing)
1,5GB DDR2 RAM and 160GB SATA

Ah. I am on arch64 and the 64-bit repo doesnt seem to have the screensavers.

There's a problem with it. It is not configurable at all in compiz config setting manager. It just appears in "no categories" and you can activate it but there is no parameters and nothing happens anway...
Maybe it is not compatible with nesl247 repo...

ok the new version (20071020-1) add a new screensaver.xml file and works now for a new install.

It's ok now. Thank you very much. Well, it doesn't start when videos are playing but I guess it is a problem with the video playback plugin.

Hello, since the last nesl247 repo udpate, the screensaver is not working anymore. Can someone confirm this?

Hello everybody, anyone know in which package now are compiz sreensavers? I cant find them anywhere in aur.

Well, according to the last post--from almost four years ago--they were no longer working, and if the package listed above isn't available the screensavers may well have been dropped. Your best bet would be to thoroughly check AUR and Google, rather than revive a years-old thread posted to by people who may not even use Arch anymore.
