OpenOffice & gtk styles

Hi all!

I am using openoffice2-1.9.104-1, I do not know exactly what version but since then my openoffice does not use my gtk2 theme, maybe since version 1.9.65. How can I fix it? cos the default gtk2 (or it is gtk1??) theme is really ugly...

Thanks!

Re: OpenOffice & gtk styles

IIRC, you have to add something to the OO.org command line if you're not using GNOME as your desktop environment for the GTK2 theme to be used. I know that it's on this forum somewhere but just can't remember where.

Re: OpenOffice & gtk styles

Assuming you are not running GNOME...
Put these in .xinitrc/.xsession/.bashrc or whatever you know will be executed on login.

export GDK_USE_XFT=1
export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=gnome

be sure you have in your home .gtkrc-2.0 in which your favorite theme is included (something like this)

include "/usr/share/themes/Industrial/gtk-2.0/gtkrc"

reboot, restart X or reload shell (depending where you put those exports)
