I had to do a reinstall this morning, which went pretty well in general. However I've run across two packages that cause some serious problems.
When I try to install kdebindings I get the following errors:
Targets: kdebindings-3.0.8-1
Do you want to install/upgrade these packages? [Y/n]
:: Retrieving packages from current...
warning: failed to get filesize for kdebindings-3.0.8-1.pkg.tar.gz
failed downloading kdebindings-3.0.8-1.pkg.tar.gz from ftp.ibiblio.org: 550 kdebindings-3.0.8-1.pkg.tar.gz: No such file or directory.
The download fails 3 or 4 times, then there is a long pause and pacman aborts with a Broken Pipe error. Very nasty. Also, kdepim gives the exact same problem.

i had this trouble with ibiblio and their mirro of xfree86 i would suggest editing your pacman.conf file so that the ftp.archlinux.org server is at the top of the list.

Nope, that doesn't help.

kdebindings will not build with gcc 3.2 and up, so it isn't in the ftp area right now. The KDE boys are working on it.
