I switched my Logitech MX Performance on evdev to get all buttons working and they do now, but since them my mouse when not moved constantly, goes to sleep and I need to move it for about 1 second before it wakes up and actually move the cursor.
How can I fix that?

Do you have that problem when you switch back from evdev?

I had the same problem, but it was laptop-mode related. I changed the usb-autosuspend configuration in /etc/laptop-mode/conf.d/ . If you haven`t got laptop-mode installed, you should find out how to disable usb-autosuspend on your mouse.
