Problem with mkinitcpio when upgrading to 0.6.8-2-any

I'm subscribed to the [testing] repository, and today upgraded with the following:

This mkinitcpio appears to get stuck on parsing autodetect hooks:

 sudo /sbin/mkinitcpio -k 2.6.37-ARCH -c /etc/mkinitcpio.conf -g /boot/kernel26.img

:: Parsing hook [autodetect]

It appears that the mdadm process is getting stuck (As I'm completely unable to kill it no matter what I try). I'm not sure how I should go about solving this, or whether simply downgrading mkinitcpio would solve this without wreaking havoc all over.
