Displaying boot messages besides dmesg everything.log

Hi,
I'm on a fully updated Arch 64b/KDE.
During the pre-graphic boot process I can see several lines indicating a problem with alsa, yet these lines disappear too fast to read them.
After graphically logging in sound works.
Neither dmesg nor everything log display any alsa problems.

Is there a way to either slow the display of the boot messages or capture them/the screen for later analysis?

Thanks

Best regards,
Michael Badt

Maybe not the perfect solution but there is also something in the wiki:
Disable_Clearing_of_Boot_Messages
