xulrunner update and system cairo

We were told on AUR (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=41217) that xulrunner gif bug is now fixed and that system-cairo could be enabled in official package.
But it's still disabled in 1.9.2.14 mozconfig. Is there a reason?
Thanks for any info.

Re: xulrunner update and system cairo

The former maintainer of that package told you that the bug was fixed upstream, and he also told you what to do if --enable-system-cairo is not applied to the Arch package.

His advice is correct, and you should follow it.

Re: xulrunner update and system cairo

Did I get it right from https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/23094#comment72984 and https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/22886 ?

system-cairo won't be enabled in firefox 3.6.14 because system-cairo in firefox 4 beta needs cairo to be built with tee support; but tee support is experimental and anyway we don't need it since we don't enable system-cairo in firefox...

Does it make sense?
