HP Deskjet F2400 printer not printing, prnt/backend/hp.c 625: ERROR: 5

Hi,

I tried to setup my printer with the ptal-init setup script, but it failed to communicate with the printer, this is the output of the command:

[gnu_d@kolg ~]$ sudo ptal-init setup -v

Stopping the HP OfficeJet Linux driver.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

This program manages devices controlled by the HP OfficeJet Linux
driver (hpoj). It attempts to probe your computer for local parallel-
and USB-connected devices, and allows you to specify network addresses
for remote JetDirect-connected devices.

If you experience any difficulties in detecting your device(s), then
refer to the hpoj documentation for troubleshooting information.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Currently defined device names ([*]=default):
    "mlc:usb:Deskjet_F2400_series"
        Model is "Deskjet F2400 series".
        Serial number is "CN01LB62QC05H4".

Press <Enter> alone to continue, or if you would like to delete
or reconfigure one of the above-listed devices, then enter the
device name to delete here --->

Probe for parallel-connected devices ([y]/n)? y

Successfully loaded kernel module "lp" for the device probe.

Warning: Probing incorrect I/O port addresses could result in system
instability and/or data loss! Consult your hardware documentation, BIOS
setup and/or kernel messages to verify correct base addresses in the
following prompts. Also, take care not to probe parallel ports that
have non-printer devices (such as disk or tape drives) connected.

No parallel ports were auto-detected.

Press <Enter> alone to continue, or if you would like to probe an
undetected parallel port, then enter its hexadecimal base address
(such as "378", "278", or "3BC") here --->

I started the daemons: pt-init and cups (with that order), then I used the gui setup device wizard hp-setup (as user), I got this output in my shell:

[gnu_d@kolg ~]$ hp-setup

error: Print command failed with exit code 256!

Done.

Then I tried with the gui wizard hp-setup and this is it's output:

Done.

And then I manually located the PPD file named deskjet_f2400_series.

I opened the hp gui Device manager, then I tried a test page, nothing happens, tried to Align cartridges (print heads) and it worked, it printed out a page, but when I clicked on the Clean cartridges it showed me a dialog with error message: "Unable to communicate with device or device is in an error state."

In the /var/log/cups/error_log logs file I get this message
