[Solved] Udisks not able to mount

After tying to install (and use) devmon (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=112502), I realized that I had a problem wherein udisks is not letting me mount anything as a user.  I am currently in all the correct groups (I think, output below) and have no idea what is wrong.

 $ groups
lp wheel video audio optical floppy storage power users

Some other relevant information:  I am running compiz with no desktop environment.  I doubt that would cause a problem, since I am starting compiz with ConsoleKit.

 $ ck-list-sessions
Session2:
    unix-user = '1000'
    realname = '(null)'
    seat = 'Seat1'
    session-type = ''
    active = TRUE
    x11-display = ':0.0'
    x11-display-device = '/dev/tty7'
    display-device = ''
    remote-host-name = ''
    is-local = TRUE
    on-since = '2011-03-06T00:37:44.297527Z'
    login-session-id = '1'
Session1:
    unix-user = '1000'
    realname = '(null)'
    seat = 'Seat2'
    session-type = ''
    active = FALSE
    x11-display = ':0.0'
    x11-display-device = ''
    display-device = ''
    remote-host-name = ''
    is-local = TRUE
    on-since = '2011-03-06T00:37:43.848138Z'
    login-session-id = '1'

If you need any more information, I will be happy to oblige.  I will probably be religiously checking this for the next couple of hours.

Thanks for any and all help.

Re: [Solved] Udisks not able to mount

After inserting a device, which group owns the device entry in /dev? Are you able to manually mount that device as user?

Re: [Solved] Udisks not able to mount

It is owned by storage.

$ mount /dev/sde1 media/
mount: only root can do that

Re: [Solved] Udisks not able to mount

I don't know what happened, but it inexplicable just started working.  I will continue to investigate this, but for now, I am marking this as solved.
