Hi there,
I'm trying to run three monitors on my desktop. I have an nvidia card and an onboard intel chip. I've looked at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xo … aphic_card and found that I need to install both the intel & the nvidia drivers.
I have the nvidia driver already installed but when I try and run "sudo pacman -Sy xf86-video-intel" I get the following output:
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: libgl and nvidia-utils are in conflict. Remove nvidia-utils? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: nvidia: requires nvidia-utils=260.19.36
Does anyone know of a way to run both drivers at the same time? Or an alternative driver that I could install for my intel chip (It will just have a terminal open. not even doing 3d stuff).
Thanks,
Matt

I have managed to get all three screens to show. However, I have two of them in "twinview" and another in it's own screen. The two that are in "TwinView" are blank and the one that is running Xmonad is fine. Have you got any ideas how to show things on other X screens?

Don't use twinview.

That person got it working without HW acceleration, which you said you don't need anyway.
You may also want to look into this if your screen id's are off:
