GPU Temperature under Nouveau

How feasible is it to get a GPU temperature reading when using the Nouveau driver? I have an Nvidia 8800M GTX card, and cannot find a method that doesn't seem to require the proprietary Nvidia binaries. Does anyone know what might be involved? Currently the only way I know that Nouveau is keeping cycles low is because my hard drive is right next to it - and I can get a temperature reading from that. big_smile

Re: GPU Temperature under Nouveau

Depends what lm_sensors says. Have you got it installed?

Re: GPU Temperature under Nouveau

Oh, I do have lm_sensors installed, and it seems to have a temperature reading for my card when running Nouveau. It didn't before - I should have checked. Thanks!
