Shutting down is impossible when using the latest MM kernel. Everything just stops at the "Initiating Shutdown..." text.

Meh, thats ok, chances are that they already know about it seeing as so many people are suffering from it, but you must realise that if theres a bug, the mm developers dont read the arch forums, the best place to report it is the lkml mailing list.

Actually, the main reason I've been using -mm is because of the patched via82xx driver.
(I know, I could compile a stock or ck kernel with that... But kernel development is going very fast right now, and call me lazy, but I don't feel like compiling a new kernel every few days.)
