S-video on nvidia card

I have been using s-video to display my screen on the tv. Yesterday though it stopped working...

Usually I just start nvidia-settings, press detect display, and configure them. Now I cant detect any displays. When rebooting I can detect the TV once, after an attempt to configure it, it will disappear. This happens every time i reboot, restarting x has no effect. Using ConnectMonitors in xorg.conf, I can force the detection of a TV, there is no picture though.

I would suspect a hardware issue, if it wasnt for the recurring detection of the TV after a reboot.

Hope someone can help, ClausH.

Re: S-video on nvidia card

I have been trying to downgrade a few packages, but to no avail. I tried both a lower version of the nvidia driver, and a beta driver, didnt make any difference...

Im going to try to see if I can find someone, who'll let me try it on their tv. And if that works, im going to try a live cd of some sort. Any suggestions as to which?

Other ideas on how to figure this out will be most welcome.
