Undervolting intel core 2 duo

I have read through the PHC wiki. but there seems to be a problem with the phctool command. It reports "/usr/bin/env: python: No such file or directory" I read that phctool requires python2.7 and I have python3. Has anyone managed to get their CPU to undervolt? And if so, how did you manage to achieve it? Thank you for the input
P.S. I searched through the forums and all it showed was old outdated threads which provide no support for me at this time.

if phc needs python2.7, install it by

pacman -S python2

Bad advise. The error indicates that phctool (which depends on python2 according to OP) is looking for python, when it should be using python2.

cabagekiller - the package doesn't have a maintainer and doesn't do the right things to use python2 instead of python3 on Arch. You could go ahead and try to fix that yourself, take a look at any app which depends on python2 in abs.

Then you'd have to ask someone to figure it out for you . The IRC channel would be a good bet.

I used to use the package, but stopped because I could never really get voltage low enough to make a difference to my puny battery, and the stability issues were just annoying.
