AUR packages with and without a 'tls' suffix

Hello!
I am just wondering, what is the difference between AUR packages with and without a 'tls' suffix, for example between
qutim-0.2-tls-git 20100827-1 and qutim-0.2-git 20100105-1, or between
qutim-0.2-protocol-jabber-git 20100401-1 and qutim-0.2-protocol-jabber-tls-git 20100827-1?
The description is the same. Is it is related to Transport Layer Security? If it is so, why qutim personally needs in TLS support, because connections that it mades are supported by plugins?

Re: AUR packages with and without a 'tls' suffix

Yes, it's related to transport layer security. Note the extra build flag -DGNUTLS=1 in each PKGBUILD. As for the underlying usage, I'm not familiar enough with quitm to know how or where its used so I'll refrain from commenting.

Re: AUR packages with and without a 'tls' suffix

OK, falconindy, thanks. Maybe I need to ask for qutim-specific structure on its forum smile
