I had made an AUR for pkgsrc, which is needed to build a number of other interesting things available for NetBSD.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=47392
Unfortunately, I noticed afterwards that the bootstrap failed and that subsequent installs of programs does not work due to some issues with the required package pkg_install (for me the error seems to be with some ftp code).
I think it would be GREAT if this package would work, and especially if we could get some AURs utilizing pkgsrc.
On all the instructions I have seen out on the net, it seems that it should be trivial to get pkgsrc to work.
See for example this link:
http://pbraun.nethence.com/doc/sysutils … kgsrc.html
EDIT:
We might have a case of missing dependencies
http://wiki-static.aydogan.net/How_to_u … c_on_Linux
but from the errors it is not completely clear what dependency that would be.
