Which desktop do you use? With KSnapshot you can select to include the mouse pointer.

Re: [SOLVED] Take a screenshot with mouse cursor

If what you are trying to do is capture a screen-shot of a single window, then entire screen, or any rectangular portion of the screen, try the "import" tool included with the imagemagick software suite.
It is extremely featureful, and simple.

Re: [SOLVED] Take a screenshot with mouse cursor

thank you for your answers

@locke87
I will try it today, later... 1000 dependencies FTW, I use E17

@Cyrusm
Kinda weird, imagemagick not only doesn't capture cursors, but in addition to it, it doesn't capture my title bars too big_smile I repeat: I use E17

You may want to try gnome-screenshot from gnome-utils package instead of KDE, it's lighter.

Maybe shutter available on AUR repositories will work for you:
yaourt -Sy shutter

Or download the tarball and compile it yourself:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=24443

It's a very good tool for screenshots, and very popular

Re: [SOLVED] Take a screenshot with mouse cursor

If you work with E17, which screenshot module do you use? There were several possibilities two years ago when I last tried enlightenment.

A google search for "e17 screenshot" should reveal some which also may keep the mouse pointer visible.
