Firefox 4 won't start

I upgraded to Firefox 4 today (on a 64bit system). When i did the upgrade, Firefox 3.6 was still opened. I closed it and re-opened Firefox, but nothing happened. The console shows no output at all.

Then I reinstalled Firefox and renamed the profile folder (~/.mozilla/firefox). After that, I get the following error:

###!!! ABORT: file /build/src/mozilla-2.0/ipc/chromium/src/base/thread_local_posix.cc, line 33
###!!! ABORT: file /build/src/mozilla-2.0/ipc/chromium/src/base/thread_local_posix.cc, line 33

Any solution?

Not sure... maybe try completely uninstalling/reinstalling?

# pacman -Rsc firefox
# pacman -S firefox

?

Re: Firefox 4 won't start

d'oh, that really was the problem... Embarassing...

Firefox never did that before, that's why I didn't think this rule still existed. I guess it's because of the newly introduced branding smile

Thanks.
