Oops. Well.. I just finished reinstalling arch again, and I did something pretty stupid..
After I got everything ready, I did a sudo pacman -S xmonad and let that finish, after that, I replaced GDM with slim, and that was working good too. I set slim to boot into xmonad with exec xmonad and I started to reboot. When I came to slims login screen, I did everything normally, and sat there waiting for it to start.
After 5 seconds, I started to realize.. I didn't actually install/configure xmonad.
So, now, I have slim trying to boot into a WM that doesn't exist.. So my question is.. is there anyway I can get a terminal up without any kind of DE or WM running? its just a blank screen after I login. (its not xmonad, I'm sure.) no keyboard shortcuts, menus, nothing.
I just need to get slim out of the DAEMONS in my rc.conf.
P.S. sorry if this is completely stupid. I'm really stuck here. Can't blame a nub for trying though, right?

Boot to a tty (run-level 3)

If you can't get to a TTY with Ctrl-Alt-F{2-6} then you can always boot into run-level 1 and change your rc.conf from there...
