[solved] problem with oppenofice libreoffice (pacman -Syyu)

when i do

pacman -Syyu

i have

A typo on your part

sudo pacman -S openoffice-base

You simply have to replace OpenOffice and all it's elements with LibreOffice. You shouldn't mix bits and pieces from both releases: the best thing is to remove OO, and then install LO and required language packs. I did so quite a time ago and everything works flawlessly.

pacman -Rcssn openoffice-fr && pacman -S libreoffice-fr

It will install Libreoffice and French language pack. Openoffice was removed a while ago from the repo. See this http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 18819.html

Hi SS4

when I ran sudo pacman -S openoffice-base I got the message not found, but applying Dogmeat's hint pacman -Rcssn openoffice-de && pacman -S libreoffice-de everything worked fine.
