Hello everyone,
I own a Samsung N220/10 (w/ Intel chipset) and I'm having the above mentioned problem when using suspend to ram (w/ pm-suspend).
I've read the wiki and googled the problem, but nothing helped. Things I did:
* Added the pm-suspend to the sudoers file
* Removed the autodetect hook from /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and rebuilt the kernel image afterwards
* Added (and then removed) the resume hook to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf
* Tried the different pm-suspend quirks
It's worth mentioning that suspend did work on this very same machine with Arch64, but after reinstalling Arch32 it doesn't seem to work - I can't seem to reproduce the same config files.
Any help is appreciated, Ido.

Try installing this video driver: xf86-video-intel

I did, but it doesn't help.

Just encountered this problem myself, has worked fine before but all of a sudden I couldn't resume.
Also have a N220, and placing:
intel_idle.max_cstate=0
at the end of my kernel line solved the issue, I pinched it from https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Le … _Hibernate

Well, it's working, but there's another (more annoying) problem now: every ~20 seconds the netbook seems to go into hibernate mode, even if it isn't idle. Did you also bump into it?
