Autodeletion of old history in Firefox 4

In Firefox 3 there was an option "browser.history_expire_days" that did the job. But as this page says here: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic … &t=2000081 ,

Those settings were removed. Firefox 4 now uses a heuristic to see how much history can be stored.

So maybe you guys know how to configure autodeletion of old history in fourth Firefox?

menu: edit/preferences
in the tab privacity select personalized configuration and uncheck remember my navigation history (this don't save the history of pages that you are viewing and never more until you check it again.
Also you can select:  erase my private data when firefox closes and select what you want

Hope to be helpfull

The option is now 'places.history.expiration.max_pages'. It's not there by default, you have to create it (right click->new->integer). As the name implies, it determines the number of entries that will be stored.
