Hi,
I'm considering going getting a new setup with ArchLinux only. I'm thinking of a Intel H67 chipset motherboard with integrated HD 3000 drivers.
According to the http://intellinuxgraphics.org/ site the hardware is supported but are the people out there who have this working?
In case it doesn't work I can always put in a cheap nvidia card, but it would be nice if the intel graphics work of course.
Also I'm considering to go for SSD only but I saw that I have some reading to do because partitioning for SSD is different but that's for another topic i guess ;-)
tia.
regards
Alex

It's not the motherboard chipset that has the graphics, it's the processor. Now it's truly a combined CPU+GPU chip. And be careful, only the beefier processors have the HD3000, lower-end processors have the HD2000.
Anyway, you need kernel 2.5.37, mesa 7.10 and xf86-video-intel 2.14 for the graphics to work. They're still in [testing] as of this moment.

ok, thanks.
So it looks I'm better of with the nvidia solution, like a Geforce 220.

I have i5 2400 and GA H67MA-UD2H - everything works great. Performance however should be a lot better with mesa 7.11.
@rieger
I wouldnt choose nv 220 over Intel HD Graphics

Could you help me?
I have other problem with graphic mode : after x11 shutdown (on logout, reboot,halt etc) system crashed - i see only black screen and nothing happen after.

Please change your mirror to a synced one.

As you can see, 2.14 version is in the extra repo and 2.15-rc is in the testing repo. You _need_ 2.14 at least for Sandy Bridge graphics...
