kernel 2.6.38.2

The .38 was the so called wonder patch, I'm just wondering why it hasn't been included for update via pacman, it was released at the end of last month. I had a quick gander at the general mailing list, and saw a bunch of sign offs, but no new kernel as yet..

I'm not bitching, not complaining, if it bothered me I could compile it myself after all, I'm just curious to know why

There have been some unresolved issues which stalled general deployment, you can read about this on the mailinglist too. If you want to use it however, you can install it from the [testing] repo. Please continue any discussion there: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewforum.php?id=49
