GCC 3.4.4 was released at 18 may 2005. But package is not updated yet.
Is the 3.4.x branch not supported by archlinux anymore? I'm rufusing to use GCC 4.x until 4.1 or better...

you can run abs, then change the version number of the gcc PKGBUILD if you're "refusing"

Oh, I see, it is my fault. I have should noticed that I am familiar with abs and pacman.
My main question is: Is the 3.4.x branch not supported by archlinux anymore? Maybe the package maintainer just missed the new release? (And yes, the gcc package has been flagged out-of-date.)
I don't want to compile gcc, just to see the updated version in the official repositories some days later.
And sorry for the typo. I make such mistakes also regularly in my native language...
