Repeated crashing after reboot

I'm having trouble with running Arch linux on my Dell Inspiron 6400 "laptopserver"...

It's been running arch for nearly 2 years now.
It had over 500 days of uptime (I made a cake when it reached 365days of uptime tongue ) but then my dad "accidently" unplugged it while I was at university. I was pretty furious.. tongue

Ever since then, after I've rebooted it, It runs for a day or so before it crashes, it says a load of stuff on the screen, none of which I understand.

I think it may have installed updates while running for 500 days or so, and rebooting has allowed those updates to take effect, the font was smaller (or the resolution was higher) ater I rebooted it, for instance.

I have prettymuch no clue what I'm doing with this thing, a friend convinced me to use arch linux because I needed something light and fast.

Ok, more info on the crashing:
When it crashes it shows a long list of stuff, I'm totally unsure what it means, It looks like this:

Here's a photo of what it says at the bottom:

After a few minutes of being on that page, it suddenly changes to this page:

and then after a couple seconds, changes back to the first page.

It runs for a day or so before that happens, but I don't know of anything that particularly sets it off

Re: Repeated crashing after reboot

Hmm I believe that's a kernel panic.

As for the cause, the timing of the error almost sounds like a sleep/hibernate issue.  Does/did the machine correctly suspend?

"Oh, they have the internet on computers now."

Re: Repeated crashing after reboot

I never told it to sleep/hibernate and I'm not sure how to tell it to tongue

It runs for about a day before it crashes, surely it should go into sleep or hibernate faster than that, and I can lave it for 8 hours doing nothing while I sleep and it doesn't crash

And although I tend to just connect in with ssh, the screen does seem to go black after 15 minutes or so without any problems, but when it crashes the screen comes back and can stay on for days with the error on it without sleeping...

I tried checking the BIOS for any sleep or hibernate features but I couldn't find any
