Upgrading to Gnome 3, broke Monodevelop - Both 2.4 and Git (2.6 beta 2) versions.
An unhandled exception is thrown during workbench loading:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
at GLib.Object.NotifyCallback (IntPtr handle, IntPtr pspec, IntPtr gch) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
I'm pretty sure this a Monodevelop thing, but I thought I'd bring it up, in case someone has something to contribute.

The same happens to me. Perhaps because it greatly depends on GTK2 working?
Anyway, after 30 or so clicks, Monodevelop opens and works "fine" anyway. I think it's mostly their problem as well. GNOME3/GTK3 are still new so not many developers have switched correctly to it yet.
...That was a much better buggy case than in other programs I use, such as Clementine, who just won't open again.

i guess is broken because of gnome-desktop-sharp now that gnome-desktop was a soname bump and depends on gtk3. i'll talk with the maintainer of monodevel to see what are we doing.
can you open a bug report?

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
