skype robot mic sound

hey guys i ve been using arch for two month now, just moved from fedora and i am have trouble with sound recording only on skype any other sound recording application works fine, my hard ware is the following:
"lspci | grep Audio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset High Definition Audio (rev 05)
01:00.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1)"
i ve read a few articules, some said the problem is with oss , i am using pulseaudio but i have osspd and oss pulseaudio support configured( figured out later it can work with pulse too) another stated tht the sound problem is due to jitter : http://forum.skype.com/index.php?showtopic=113405                    if any one had the same problem ill be thankful if he can help me

guys am really srry , it turned out i was using an old skype version just entering pacman -Sy skype fixed the problem, there aare also some gd tools on AUR to improve skype anyone with similair problem can try em out thnx again everyone.
