Raid1 problems after clean install - Activating raid arrays [fail]

Hey,

System setup:
1 hdd with encrypted root, 2 hdds with encrypted raid1.

when I boot into my new system I got the message: md0: detected capacity change from 0 to .... then I type my password for the root partition and the boot process continues and I get this message: Activating raid arrays [FAIL]. But when I log in as root and I do a check of the raid with

mdadm -D /dev/md0

The output prints that the state is clean and I can't see any problems.

How can I fix this boot problem? Any ideas?
