Hello everyone
I have been using linux for a long time, and arch for last 2 months, and have never came up on this problem.
I installed Arch on my pc, and it works great but only thing that is troubling me is graphic card.
Driver installed is fglrx, i manage to boot, pass the GDM and login to desktop.
But after a minute or 2 everything freezes, and only hard reset helps.
But i accidentaly found this out, when i boot i get to GDM i do ctrl+alt+backspace, after that i login and everything is working perfectly, no freezing direct rendering working as it should fully operational system.
Any one to give a hint or something?

Which version of these packages are you using:
kernel?
xorg-server?
catalyst? Catalyst-utils/catalyst-test?
gnome 2.xx I assume?
Do you boot with nomodeset?
