Nvidia has released drivers compatible with xorg 1.10. Any plans to add this package again in extra repositories?

I am a 96xx user, not upgrading to Xorg1.10.
I am just wondering though, shouldn't the installed nvidia96xx drivers conflict (and thus get deleted by pacman ) with the xorg 1.10 upgrade?
