cmus gap of about 10 seconds in the middle of the song

I recently installed cmus, i'm using pulse but normal alsa applications like aplay work. When playing mp3 files with cmus it plays for about 10 secnds then it's silent for another ten seconds and then the rest of the song plays fine.
Can anyone confirm this odd behaviour>
Btw. moc works fine

Can you check if the error is still there in cmus 2.4.0?
