Gnome 3 won't start

Hi all.

I've attempted to install gnome 3 as described in the wiki. I can get gdm to load, and can still access openbox from there no problem, but when I try and enter gnome I get the "fail whale" screen. This happens every time. I've tried to trace the problem but am having some difficulty resolving it, so any help would be most appreciated.

Here is .xsession-errors:

Re: Gnome 3 won't start

Upgraded the rest of the system to with [testing] enabled, seems to work ok now.

agwblack never cherry pick from testing. all or nothing

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: Gnome 3 won't start

Thanks for the advice. I'm fairly new to Arch and wasn't aware of this. It's proving to be a very instructive experience big_smile
