Wiki looks good, qwerty. Question (kind of related): You've got kernel 2.6.11.10 in your pkgbuild. When I first installed the ATI drivers, I custom-compiled 2.6.11.7 with the agp modules. Is there any driving reason I should upgrade to .11.10 if I have no problems with .7?

qwerty,
As always, thanks for the quick response to the release of new ATI drivers!
Cerebral,
The only reason you should want/need to recompile your kernel is if there's something in the kernel that's changed sometime between 2.6.11.7 and 2.6.11.11 (current stable release as of this posting). Of course, if you install the drivers on your current kernel and there are problems, that also might merit recompiling.
To see what's changed between 2.6.11.7 and 2.6.11.11, just check the changelogs at www.kernel.org . Here they are for quick reference; I'd check them over to see if there's any important patches you think you want/need before considering recompiling:
2.6.11.8 - http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … g-2.6.11.8
2.6.11.9 - http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … g-2.6.11.9
2.6.11.10 - http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … -2.6.11.10
2.6.11.11 - http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … -2.6.11.11

Thanks for the quick reply DarkPath, and the links to the changelogs. Now that I know where to look, I shouldn't have to bother fine people like you anymore.

I've got kernel 2.6.11.10 in my pkgbuild just because it's actually the "official" arch kernel version, you don't have to upgrade to it if you don't need it. I made it just because i hope they're gonna make arch official kernel with AGP stuff builded as a module so ppl can make ati drivers work just downloading the PKGBUILD (and all the other stuff) and run makepkg.
