Problem using google voice chat after installing alsaequal

Hi,

After installing alsaequal, my google voice chat broke.
The audio input and output for google talk plugin does not work.

The error message (by firefox):
ALSA lib dlmisc.c:236:(snd1_dlobj_cache_get) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib32/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_equal.so

Please help me fix this issue.
(I'm using a 64 bit system, and I have lib32-alsa-plugins and lib32-alsa-utils installed from the multilib repo)

Thanks.

Re: Problem using google voice chat after installing alsaequal

I reinstalled google-talkplugin from https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=40056.
Still getting the same error message.

But it installed a 64 bit version of google-talkplugin.
Also I'm using 64 bit firefox 4, then why is it wanting a 32 bit library ?

Re: Problem using google voice chat after installing alsaequal

Finally its solved.

I commented out the ~/.asoundrc file, which contained the alsaequal configurations.
So, currently alsaequal doesnt work for me, but google-talkplugin does...

For both to work (on 64bit machine), you have to compile alsaequal for 32 bit as well.
