Installing GDM with KDE

Hey guys, I'm new here, and after using ubuntu for a long time, I thought I'd actually try to learn something about linux. Looking around, alot of people have recomemded arch.
I have a question though. How do I install KDE with GDM? I like both of those but it's like i have to pick both of the same, like KDE and KDM.  I got KDE installed, but It auto uses KDM. Thank you for your help smile

Re: Installing GDM with KDE

install gdm and then edit your inittab.
sudo pacman -S gdm
sudo vim /etc/inittab
Go to the bottom, comment out the line that has kdm and uncomment the gdm line.

EDIT: Welcome to the Arch Community, by the way! big_smile
