matrix backlight problem

Hello,

I have an urgent problem with installing Arch Linux (ArchBang, CTKarch etc.). After successfuly burning the system on a CD and choosing appropiate options from the boot menu, the backlight of my notebook turns off. The system loads properly, but there's no backlight, the whole screen is very dark and unusable.
The problem occurs on Kernel 2.6.37 and newer and concerns notebook Acer eMachines e725.
