Can't build pure-ftpd

Hi,

I'm new at Archlinux  and AUR.
I want to install pure-ftpd on a fresh Archlinux install.
I have installed base-devel and I was able to build a package picked at random (NewsFeed).
But with pure FTPD I always get the error:
"pure-ftpd was not found in the build directory and is not a URL"
I tried it with version 1.0.32 today and version 1.0.31 yesterday.

can you please help me ?

Works here. You could try asking on the package's page, and/or you'll have to give more information about what you're doing and what happens.

Edit: maybe you didn't download the tarball but just the PKGBUILD? You need to download and unpack the tarball.

You guess right, I did not see the link to the tarball, and was able to build other packages with the PKGBUILD only.
