MIddle click closing Opera tabs

I am using Trackpoint on my Thinkpad and everything works fine except when scrolling in Opera, I have to be extra careful not to click the middle button (used for scrolling) too quickly cause if I do, it will close the tab.
Is there any way of disabling the closing action?
