[SOLVED] Firefox and mouse scrolling bug on first boot

This is pretty annoying and I've ignored it for some time, but I'm starting to feel irritated having to double-boot every time I start up my machine. The problem is with Firefox 4 or some part of it. The mouse scrolls itself upwards in perfect intervals of 1 second, but only if it's the first boot and I have started Firefox, the problem persists even if I close it. It scrolls in every applications regardless of what GUI or something else it uses. It doesn't happen in Windows. I haven't tried to debug it or look at the logs. Any tips?

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

The problem is still here. The mouse moves slowly to the left upper corner and scrolls in intervals. If I move the mouse around rapidly the interval and the delay between scrolls gets longer. Here is a video that may help.

Well, the issue persists. I'm really puzzled, but I've given up a long time on it. I guess it might be related to the mouse itself, but it still doesn't make sense.

It seems to be solved now. I haven't cold-booted into Arch for a while, but now that I have, I see there is no problem. I guess this is solved.
