tvtime + pulsaudio can't adjust volume level

With gnome 3 one has to use pulseadio. Since the upgrade I can't adjust volume level in tvtime (tvtime_patched 1.0.2-3 from AUR) and tvtime doesn't appear in Sound settings / Application tab. I couldn't find any related posts. Is there a workaround or something?
Also, the built-in volume level doesn't work in Sonata, however Sound settings / Application tab works in this case.
