1. Why do I need to open any folder trough "Places" to get my desktop icons loaded? (Nautilus sleeps until called?)
2. Why does pulseaudio keep crashing while changing the mixer settings?
3. If possible, how to customize colour of the applets?
4. When I move my mous out of a window, and hover it onto a song, it starts a preview, but as an instant I get shocked because the music just won't stop. This is... a bug.
5. When I open a .mp3 file while having MPlayer selected as default music player, it just plays the song without even opening any type of information. I had to kill the proccess to stop it. Now I don't like to be distracted from my "work", but at least some decent way to stop the music would be nice.
6. Instructions on the ArchWiki for Compiz (without applet icon) in fallback mode does not work for me. No error, when I click at the fusion icon it does start compiz without problems.
7. Opening the Applications menu, and then clicking any of the submenus closes them. I figured I have to hover them to open. Is it really necessary?
8. My 2010 laptop starts to scream the cooling in pain. Gnome 3 [Fallback mode] = high intensive program?
9. Where is that shiny network applet in the fallback mode?
10. Desktop icons are too large.
11. Gnome 2 and KDE 3.5 lover.
Oh the wonders of Gnome 3. Thanks to all who helps!
EDIT:
12. I just realized I cannot put icons onto any of the applets... I'm screwed with desktop launchers
13. I managed to put a terminal icon on the bottom pannel. I spent 20 minutes trying to get rid of it and in the end I had to press "Alt + Right Click".
14. I can't find the "Autostart programs" thingie, it's lost forever I fear.
15. What's this? -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6031064/Random% … folder.png
I fear it is the way of how the nautilus should be autostarted on login. Uh oh.

because you didn't use gnome-tweak-tool to enable the feature. when using that, is automatically adding nautilus in ~/.config/autostart
2. Why does pulseaudio keep crashing while changing the mixer settings?
works for me. provide logs
4. When I move my mous out of a window, and hover it onto a song, it starts a preview, but as an instant I get shocked because the music just won't stop. This is... a bug.
works for me. i guess it depends on which player is used and i guess you don't have totem

because mplayer.desktop has in Exec=mplayer -really-quiet

8. My 2010 laptop starts to scream the cooling in pain. Gnome 3 [Fallback mode] = high intensive program?
not a gnome problem
9. Where is that shiny network applet in the fallback mode?

Don't use them if they are too large

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

I disabled the previews entirely in the Nautilus prefereneces, didn't need previews. Probably will be fixed in future.

thanks

I can still take 10 extra clicks to manage my wireless adapter. I guess it all rests on the Gnome developers to add a simpler version of it in the fallback mode.

I have no idea how that got there.
