[SOLVED] krb5 and heimdal and kde3

I am still using kde3 apps - but - the update to krb5 eliminates heimdal which is a dependency of my kde3 libs.

Is there a way to implement a 'provides heimdal' in the new package or can I rebuild stuff eliminating this dependency or are there other solutions besides upgrading to kde4 which I _don't_ want to do?

Thanx for any hint.

You should rebuild those against krb5

Re: [SOLVED] krb5 and heimdal and kde3

Thanks Allan - so - for the record - I ended up in build/dependency hell trying to rebuild kde3-kdelibs - so I rebuild kdelibs3 from extra and just added 'provides=("kde3-kdelibs=$pkgver")' to the PKGBUILD and supplied the kde3.sh from the old package in /etc/profile.d - things seem to work fine so far.
