[PPC] Can't boot installer on iMac G3

I'm trying to install Arch Linux on an iMac G3/333MHz with 64MB of RAM and have yet to actually reach the installer. I've tried 3 different discs (all burned at 4x) -- the latest "official" 2011-03-05, 2010.02.26 and a 2011.03.07 that I thought addressed some compatibility issues. It hangs forever at the loading udev, kernel modules and loopback interface phases before eventually reaching a black screen. Keyboard appears unresponsive and unfortunately the original iMac G3 doesn't have VGA out. Are there any boot options or a known good ISO that I might have better luck with?

There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels.

Just to be sure, are you talking about Arch Linux PPC?

Of course. I don't think the computer would attempt to boot with a disc for any other architecture wink

*BUMP* Any ideas? I'm beginning to wonder if it just needs more RAM. Might just have some old PC133 modules gathering duest in the shed somewhere...
