wierd boot error

Twice now I have booted up to following error screen, restarting has worked first time both times, but upon successful boot, these messages aren't in the output of dmesg, so I don't know where or if they are logged on my machine, thus the best I can do is at the moment is a photo I took with my phone.

Any idea what this is all about?

Re: wierd boot error

That’s a kernel oops or panic (aka crash) and it looks exactly the same as the one I just read about in “Random kernel panics on boot. 2.6.38-ARCH”

Re: wierd boot error

Perhaps your problem is related to the problems reported about usb interface crashes with insertion of usb devices or having usb devices connected while starting up.

You might give that a shot....
