[science] R 2.1.0 - statistical language and environment

R is similar to GNU's S. It covers many mathematical domains, although is well known for its statistics support.  I personally use it for vector/matrix manipulation and clustering of large datasets.

The PKGBUILD is now available on AUR. This is my first one - so I hope it's ok!

D'oh! How did I miss that?! I did check - honest! But somehow, I missed it. God knows what happened there. Obiviously, I wouldn't have gone to all the effort if I knew. tongue

I shall remove mine from the AUR then.

Indeed. But the experience was worth it. I recall hearing others that it was easy, but I still expected it to be more difficult than it actually was!

This is a clear sign of how well designed ABS is big_smile

(Well, technically, I did miss a couple of depends, but I realised quickly and was fixing that when max spotted the duplication!)
