system upgrade failure

I have multilib and multilib-testing enabled, as well as the default testing repos enabled. An attempted upgrade (pacman -Syu) this morning produced this:

:: Starting full system upgrade...
:: Replace heimdal with core/krb5? [Y/n] Y
resolving dependencies...
warning: cannot resolve "kernel26<2.6.39", a dependency of "aufs2"
:: The following package cannot be upgraded due to unresolvable dependencies:
      aufs2

Do you want to skip the above package for this upgrade? [y/N] y
warning: dependency cycle detected:
warning: lib32-gcc-libs will be installed before its gcc-libs-multilib dependency
looking for inter-conflicts...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: aufs2: requires kernel26<2.6.39

I cannot find any other posts or news items related to this. Any ideas?

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Re: system upgrade failure

The above link to the git repository is, I guess, the patch that needs to be applied. Can someone please guide me in how to download and apply the patch? Do I first need to install a git application? What info do I take from the git page, and how do I use it to apply the patch?

Still struggling to get into the Arch way - but learning all the time

Thanks
