loading package data... done.
checking for file conflicts... done.
installing ati-drivers... done.
You can use the tool 'fglrxconfig' to generate an xorg.conf file.
Remember to add fglrx to the MODULES list in /etc/rc.conf.
[root@ethereal ati-drivers]# depmod -ae
[root@ethereal ati-drivers]# modprobe fglrx
FATAL: Error inserting fglrx (/lib/modules/2.6.11.10-ARCH/video/fglrx.ko): Operation not permitted

didn't get any conflicts when building the package, when installing it had a conflict with a library file in /X11/lib directory, but then used pacman -Af to install it and the install went through. but got the above error so i then removed the package using pacman -r ati-drivers .

and then did the above..any ideas?

issue happens in and out of X .
