[SOLVED]Nethack Bad option line for MENUCOLOR and AUTOPICKUP_EXCEPTION

I installed Nethack from the community repo.  My .nethackrc looks like this:

OPTIONS=color, showexp, showscore

MENUCOLOR="[Cc]ursed"=red&bold
MENUCOLOR="[Uu]ncursed"=yellow
MENUCOLOR="[Bb]lessed"=lightgreen

OPTIONS=pickup_types:"!?/=+$
AUTOPICKUP_EXCEPTION=">*[Cc]ursed*"
AUTOPICKUP_EXCEPTION="<*arrow"

BOULDER=048

Upon starting Nethack, it tells me:

Bad option line:  "MENUCOLOR="[Cc]ursed"=red&bold"

Hit return to continue: 
Bad option line:  "MENUCOLOR="[Uu]ncursed"=yellow"

Hit return to continue: 
Bad option line:  "MENUCOLOR="[Bb]lessed"=lightgreen"

Hit return to continue: 
Bad option line:  "AUTOPICKUP_EXCEPTION=">*[Cc]ursed*""

Hit return to continue: 
Bad option line:  "AUTOPICKUP_EXCEPTION="<*arrow""

Hit return to continue: 

I'm unable to find anyone with the same problem.  I recompiled Nethack, resulting in the same thing.  How would I fix this?

nethack in community doesn't include the menucolors patch. Try http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7979

And with a few changes to .nethackrc, it works perfectly.  Thank you.
