Hi,
I've just bought a new pgm keyboard, the zowie celeritas keyboard
But I've found that some of the keys (SHIFT, ALT ...) aren't working under Arch, under X11 or directly in console. All the keys are working fine under Windows.
I have done a small research :
>>> /lib/udev/findkeyboards
USB keyboard: input/event16
AT keyboard: input/event0
module: input/event7
>>> sudo /lib/udev/keymap -i input/event16
Press ESC to finish, or Control-C if this device is not your primary keyboard
driver did not send SYN event in between key events; previous event:
scan code: 0x700E1 key code: leftshift
Each key that is not working has the SYN issue. The working keys haven't. No matter what the keymap is, the SHIFT/ALT keys aren't working.
Another fact is that the keyboard is not listed in the lsusb output :
xavier@paifu ~]$ lsusb

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 046d:c512 Logitech, Inc. LX-700 Cordless Desktop Receiver
Bus 006 Device 002: ID 2345:0101
So I think that the keyboard is not recognized at all ? What can I do ? It's just a keyboard with no special keys after all !!!
EDIT: FYI, I'm using the latest kernel (2.6.38), and the latest gnome 3.0 environnement. The issue is the same no matter if X11 is running or not. My system is completely up to date.
Thanks for any help !

Hi, I've just tested with 2.6.39 from testing, and no change about this issue, still the same problem

You can try opening a bug report here: https://bugs.archlinux.org/
Attach those outputs, they will be very useful to the developers
